IRBD 2012 Programme
The IRBD 2012 conference programme will consider the bipolar spectrum in detail. It is a multi-tracked programme committed to offering depth and breadth of information to update the busy clinician. We would expect the programme to include sessions on the following subjects – but is not restricted to them. Proposals on all areas are encouraged by the secretariat.

• Physical/Somatic illness
• Physiology/Impulsivity
• Suicidality
• Neuroendocrinology
• Genes and neurotransmitters
• Temperament and Cyclothymia
• Differential and Dual diagnosis
• Co-Morbidity
• Clinical management

• Pharmaceutical treatment options
The 2012 programme also includes 2 new tracks:
Ground Breaking Research Track
This new track encourages and supports exceptional new research. It will consist of poster presentation sessions, guided poster tours and oral poster platform presentations.
The best 6 posters/ oral poster presentations will receive a prize of €300 towards travel and accommodation plus FREE registration for IRBD 2013.

Discussion and Debate
This track will focus on stimulating delegate participation throughout the conference.
